Our small flower farm was born in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when we and many of those around us looked to nature for respite from world events. We found calm and inspiration on our own acre of oak savanna trees, hills and water in the suburban city of Arden Hills which inspired our company name, Arden Oak Flowers and Design.
As gardeners with a passion for flowers and plants, we have long focused on conservation. We took back our land from invasive buckthorn, planting wild flowers for the butterflies and bees, and trees for birds and animals. Our backyard wetland remains untouched.
Our founder, Linh, has always had an eye for design. She enjoys scouting out a variety of flowers and plants in a myriad of colors from local farmers and nurseries. She loves designing planters and arrangements for all seasons and looks forward to working with you, to bringing your floral ideas to life.
The Arden Oak logo reflects where we live and grow our flowers. Some years ago we bought a one-acre parcel of land where generation-old oak trees flourished. We built upon this savanna our home, which replicates a 19th century Greek Revival Farmhouse. In this, we feel we are honoring nature, history and the present.
